Stipt — Dutch for punctual, precise, on the dot — is the UK-facing practice of Patrick Arends, a RIBA-registered architect with twenty-four years across every RIBA Work Stage.
Patrick trained in the Netherlands and moved south for love. He brings the working habits he grew up with — plan before you pour, say the awkward thing early, treat a date as a date — to British developers, hospitality operators and private clients.
Before founding Stipt he worked at Mecanoo, HLM and Peak Architects, contributing to award-winning cultural and public buildings across the UK and the Netherlands — libraries, theatres, museums, university campuses. That portfolio sits over at studioarends.com, the wider practice.
Stipt is the sharper, simpler offer: a single point of contact for clients who don’t want a fifty-person studio between them and the contractor. The person you have a first coffee with is the same person who’ll sign off the snag list.
